WELL certification is the leading tool for advancing health and well-being in buildings globally. WELL v2 is the most rigorously tested and vetted version of the WELL Building Standard (WELL) to date, making it the premier framework for advancing health and well-being around the world.
What is a WELL Certification?
Backed by the latest scientific research, WELL includes strategies that aim to advance health by setting performance standards for design interventions, operational protocols and policies and a commitment to fostering a culture of health and wellness. Spanning 108 features and 10 concepts, WELL is a roadmap for improving the quality of our air, water and light with inspired design decisions that not only keep us connected but facilitate a good night’s sleep, support our mental health and help us do our best work every day.
What is WELL Product Documentation?
WELL Product Documentation lists your building products sustainability attributes. Design professionals need this information when working on WELL projects. Projects pursuing WELL Certification can earn points based on performance outcomes for various policy, design and operational strategies and can achieve one of four certification levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold or Platinum.
WELL Product Documentation is similar to LEED product documentation. Instead of LEED credit categories, your product may contribute to a WELL Concept. For example, if your product has a Health Product Declaration (HPD), your product may contribute to the Materials Feature X07 Materials Transparency. Or your product may contribute to the Materials Feature X08 Materials Optimization if your product has a compliant Declare Label. Our team provides a comprehensive analysis of your products contributions to WELL Concepts.
Elixir Environmental helps product manufacturers with:
- Manage WELL Product Documentation project
- Technical review of existing WELL Product Documentation language
- Create list of product contributions based on WELL Concepts and Features
